Q: When can I access to my stored goods?
A: Hours of access are from 6:00am to 9:00pm Daily - 365 days/year.

Q: Does management live on-site?
A: Yes. All our facilities have on-site managers.

Q: Do I have to sign a long term lease?
A: No, we rent month to month.

Q: How secure will my things be?
A: You choose a private access code that allows you access to your unit. Manager's live on site and we provide state-of-the-art security including video surveillance.

Q: Can I transfer to a smaller or larger storage unit if that should become necessary?
A: Yes, we can transfer you to a unit that fits your needs at anytime during your rental without penalty. You just pay the difference in rent if there is any.

Q: Do you charge an Administrative Fee?
A: No. We charge a Refundable Security Deposit

Q: Do you insure my goods?
A: No. Self-Storage facilities cannot provide insurance, we can direct you to an insurance provider, or you may check with your renter's or homeowner's insurance company.

Q: What does climate control mean and why should I care about that?
A: It means that your stored items will not freeze nor will they accumulate condensation. Heat and circulating fans throughout the facility prevent them from doing so.

Q: Do you rent trucks, or offer a free truck with a move-in?
A: We are storage professionals, we rely on and recommend local truck rentals and moving companies.

Q: You say your storage is on multi-levels. Do I have to climb stairs?
A: No. You can either access your goods from the level you are on, or at some facilities, we have multiple large elevators.

Q: How do I move my stuff to my unit? Do I have to bring a dolly?
A: We provide large carts for your use to assist your move.

Q: I need packing supplies, can you recommend some place to purchase those?
A: We carry a full line of moving and packing supplies at each location.

Q: How do I estimate how many boxes I'll need?
A: We have a chart that you can use for estimating boxes and tape (Insert link here for chart).

Q: Do you take debit or credit cards?
A: We take Visa/MasterCard/Discover credit cards, checks, cash and money orders.

Q: How Can I pay my rent?
A: You can pay in person, mail payment, drop box in front of the office, by phone with credit card or online at www.peoples-storage.com.

Q: I need to store some stuff, but I don't know what size space I need?
A: Peoples Storage expert staff will be able to help you determine the size storage you will need.

Q: Will my moving truck be able to get to my storage unit?
A: Yes, all of our facilities have been designed to accommodate the largest of moving trucks.
